Employee Care Manager
Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is seeking an Employee Care Manager to join us in our mission to Change the Way the World Ages. We provide older adults with quality care that enables them to live happier, healthier lives at home. As an Employee Care Manager, you would help to ensure the smooth ongoing scheduling of care for our clients. You would be primarily responsible for the scheduling, recruiting, hiring, training, and human resource management of our caregiving staff. In addition, you would have the ability to work directly with our clients to ensure their needs are met.
Some Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages and verifies schedules, ensuring all open shifts are staffed
- Recruits, screens, interviews, orients and hires caregiving staff
- Serves as staff support for Caregivers, explaining company policies, assisting with conflict resolution, and promoting retention and increased job satisfaction
- In collaboration with the care management team, counsels, disciplines and makes termination recommendations of caregiving staff
- Ensures accurate payroll and billing for all shifts
- Occassionally will fill in for open Caregiver shifts
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Previous experience in scheduling or staffing preferred, but not required. We will train.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy required – Mac & Google Suite.
